Carlie’s goal has always been to share her love of the arts with the younger generation. Graduating as a registered teacher from her studies with the Royal Academy of Dance, Carlie is proud to have guided her students through their RAD exams with an 100% pass rate. Carlie is also a Practical Teaching Supervisor with the RAD, advising new teachers through their qualifications.

Carlie has completed her Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management and also is a registered Acrobatic teacher through Acrobatic Arts.

Professionally Carlie has worked with the Wiggles, Screaming Jets and Alannah Hill and spent almost a decade in the US as a dancer with Carnival’s Cruise Lines cruising the Carribean. As a member of the The Royal Academy of Dance UK, Carlie has mentored students completing their Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies programme. Carlie has also obtained her certificate lll and lV in fitness specialising in boxing and boot camps. Carlie founded her own studio “Turning Pointe Dance Co” in July 2013, and her students have gone on to realise their dreams of becoming ballerinas and teachers.
